I got a call from an unknown number and an automated message said my National Insurance had been at risk and I needed to press 1 to stop any legal action in South Wales. The number looked a bit dodgy, almost like a mobile, so I just ended the call. No idea what pressing 1 would’ve done, but surely HMRC wouldn’t ring me from that sort of number. Pretty fishy if you ask me.
