I got a call from a woman with a foreign accent trying to sell me a phone contract upgrade, but she couldn’t even get my surname right. I told her straight away it sounded like a scam to me.

I got a call from this number, and it was a woman with an Asian accent claiming to be from EE. She didn’t bother asking my name or checking any security details. When she asked how much I pay for my contract and I said I couldn’t remember, she just told me it didn’t matter because she had some special offer for me at a lower price. She spoke so fast, cutting me off all the time, I had to shout for her to slow down. Eventually, I told her I wasn’t interested and ended the call. Maybe it was really EE, but I’ve never had them call like that before.
