At first, she said she wouldn’t ask for any payment info, but then suddenly asked for my bank details. It felt dodgy straight away, so I ended the call. After that, I kept getting more calls from the same number. Looking back, I guess I should’ve caught on sooner that it was probably a scam, but they sounded so convincing as usual.1 yearThey tried to get me to save their number on WhatsApp, saying it was about job offers. Then, just hung up. It was a recorded voice. There was a tiny pause before the message started, so I knew straight away it was dodgy. Proper nasty scammers. If you happened to add them on WhatsApp, they’d probably send some Trojan or malware that wrecks your phone, but only after stealing your bank info and personal files.
