Got an email supposedly from MyHeritage and I clicked on a link to check out some discovery. Not long after, I got two calls from UK mobile numbers along with a couple of voicemails. One voicemail was almost a minute long but all I could hear was background noise and no one talking. The other was just a short 3 second silence. Feels like that email was dodgy, maybe had a tracker in it, since this all happened right after I opened it.

This seems like MyHeritage to me. They’re a proper company and just yesterday they sent me a note about a DNA match, but most of the details were behind a premium paywall - didn’t really fancy paying for it. I bet there’s some kind of tracker in the email link to tell them I clicked on it. Wouldn’t trust it too much.

It was a bit of a pain to stop it, but I found an email from them and scrolled right down to the bottom where it said email preferences. I've been checking out MyHeritage along with a few others, so I'm not sure if this call is some dodgy scam connected to that site, or if it’s actually the company itself, but cold calling people from a mobile like that seems strange.
