Got a call from a lady with a really thick accent I couldn’t place, saying something about my interest in… well, I couldn’t catch what exactly. I asked her to repeat, and she mentioned the financial market or something along those lines. She kept going without letting me get a word in, so I finally shouted over her saying, “I’m not involved with any financial market,” and she just ended the call. I blocked the number right after and my phone flagged it as possible spam - wish it had done that before I picked up! Felt pretty dodgy to me.

This number rang me up, and the bloke said he was from Sky. I didn’t let him carry on past that, too suspicious for my liking.

It’s really worrying that they have my full name, address and postcode. I told the caller I was going to report her to the police and she just ended the call. It’s high time someone took action against these calls, especially since they target vulnerable people.
