Got a call in the early afternoon and answered it. The voice on the other end, which sounded like a woman but clearly an AI, called me ‘user’ and said my phone number would stop working today. Then, it repeated the same thing in Chinese. It told me to press 1 or 2 to get more info in either language, but I ended the call right away. I haven’t seen this kind of scam before, but I’m sure it’s dodgy and not from my phone company.
