Got a call from someone claiming to be with o2 offering me a 25% discount on my bill that would last forever, said I didn’t have to do a thing. Wasn't sure if it was for real so I just ended the call.

Normally, there’s a bit of a lag before they start talking, which usually tips me off that it’s just some scammer call centre. Then you get this American or African accent going ‘yes, hello Ma’am’. That’s when I just cut the call and hang up.
