Got a call from a mobile number but didn't pick up - no texts or voicemail either. Honestly, it's pointless, so I just went ahead and blocked it.

Got a dodgy text from this number claiming to be my local council, saying I owed money for a fine and wanted me to click a link to pay up. Heard lots about this scam lately. Proper councils don’t send texts about fines like that. They also say there’s loads of similar scams pretending to be from the DVLA going around too. Be careful!
