It’s so annoying when the phone just rings a couple of times then cuts off. Makes me think they’re calling loads of people at once and only chat with whoever picks up first...

Someone called me and already had all my info before I even said anything, then asked me to verify it. They sent real one-time codes that let them access your account. I rang Vodafone and they said it definitely wasn’t their call. If you gave out those codes, change your account details straight away. Make sure to get in touch with Vodafone and your bank ASAP because these scammers have your account numbers!

This number called me earlier and I ended up just hanging up straight away. I've got this spam alert app on my phone that flags dodgy calls, which is a lifesaver really. In the past, similar numbers have rung me and it turned out to be someone from India, I believe. Pretty sure it's some sort of scam.

There was just silence, then this robotic voice came in saying “you’re the only person in this meeting.” No real chatter at all.

I got calls from an Indian guy, really hard to catch what he was saying. He kept ringing back, like four times in just a few minutes. Mentioned something about a service provider, but I just ended the call. Only picked up now so I could leave my two cents here.
