Got a call that turned out to be a scam, Vodafone confirmed it later. I foolishly shared the code they texted me, and somehow they already had my email. When they asked for my memorable info, I just ended the call. Played it safe and cancelled my bank card too, just to be on the safe side!

I got a ring on my mobile but when I answered and said “hello” a few times, there was silence. No one spoke before they just ended the call. Maybe they weren’t keen on my accent since I’m not from the UK!

This number just called me saying they were from O2 and that they’d be shutting down 4G in two days, so they needed to send me a new SIM card with a contract. I told them I’m actually on pay as you go. They asked for my email next, but I said I’m not comfortable sharing personal info on the phone. They ended the call pretty quickly after that.

Was a weird call from someone saying they were from Vodafone, but the accent sounded really odd, like it wasn’t genuine at all.

Got a call a moment ago, didn’t pick up and let it head straight to voicemail - nothing was left. Came straight to this site to have a look and found loads of recent reports with the same vibes. Seems like it’s a number used for 'farming' calls. Added it to my block list.

Got a call asking if everything was alright with my Sky service, if I had any issues. I told them straight away, no way, I’ve never even had Sky! Then I wondered if it was some kind of scam.

Got a call from someone in India pretending to be from Sky. I told her she was a con artist and a fraud before hanging up pretty quick. I don’t even have a Sky subscription, so it was obvious.

Got a call today from someone saying they were O2, telling me my SIM card would expire in a couple of days. I wasn’t buying it at all, so I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be O2 saying they’d send me a new SIM to fix my bad signal. Turns out it was a scam! I rang O2 myself and they said they never do that. Watch out!

No message left, just straight to voicemail. Pretty sure this number’s tried ringing me before, something about an 02 code. I’ve blocked it now.
