Somebody rang me up saying they know exactly who I am and have a voice recording of me. They called me by my old surname, so when I said she’s not available and asked what they wanted, they just said no, we have your voice recording. They told me if I want to chat, I need to ring them back. Sounds dodgy to me.

Not sure who rang me from this number. The person said Admiral had agreed to cover my claim after an accident involving my car and a delivery van. They asked if anyone was hurt or if I was planning to make a personal injury claim. Later on, my insurance company told me it was likely a stranger trying to fish for details to push some injury claims. Luckily, I didn’t give out any of my private info since it wasn’t relevant here. Still, the whole thing left me feeling a bit dodgy about that call.
