I received a rather unsettling call today. The person on the line claimed to have some knowledge of my identity and even mentioned that they possess a recording of my voice. They addressed me by my maiden name, which caught me off guard. When I inquired about the purpose of their call, stating that I wasn’t available at the moment, they bluntly informed me that they were certain it was me, given the voice recording they had. They insisted that if I wished to discuss anything further, I ought to return their call. Quite strange, if you ask me!

Not sure who rang me from this number. The person said Admiral had agreed to cover my claim after an accident involving my car and a delivery van. They asked if anyone was hurt or if I was planning to make a personal injury claim. Later on, my insurance company told me it was likely a stranger trying to fish for details to push some injury claims. Luckily, I didn’t give out any of my private info since it wasn’t relevant here. Still, the whole thing left me feeling a bit dodgy about that call.
