Someone rang me saying they were from Amazon about a dodgy purchase, even gave a fake name and some sort of badge ID. They tried to get me to click on a WhatsApp link, but I don't even use WhatsApp. Then they asked me to download an app called Customer app from Google Play so they could control my phone remotely. Thankfully, I just ended the call and checked with Amazon - turns out it was a proper scam!
