I never got a phone call, just saw a flyer we keep getting through the door about collecting books, CDs, and DVDs (not for charity). It said to text your address to a number and they'll come to collect for free if you put the stuff outside on a specific day. I tried texting and left the books out twice, but nobody ever showed up. Since I’ve also been getting loads of spam calls and texts, I reckon it’s just a trick to grab your number and then sell it on.

I haven't had any calls from this number, but it showed up on a flyer slipped under my door. They were asking for old books, dvds and games, but there was no info about it being connected to any charity. Feels like someone just trying to cash in on stuff they collect.
