On 28 Jan at about 10:13, I got a call from 07378298714. Straight away, it went into a robotic message about suspicious credit card activity supposedly happening that same day, mentioning one with Amazon and another no details given. I've come across this scam so many times now. What gives it away for me is: (1) they never said which bank, (2) they didn’t bother verifying it was my card - could’ve been anyone’s really! and (3) why use a recorded message for just one supposed incident? Total dodgy call.
