Got a call from a lady with an Asian accent, called Veronica she said, claiming she was from BT about issues with my internet. She kept calling me “Ma’am” and sounded really pushy. Once I got a chance to speak, I told her thanks but I’d sort it out directly with BT. After that, her tone got more pushy and a bit rude, trying hard to get me to handle it her way. That’s when I just hung up. I might look a bit clueless but I’m no mug! I’m well aware of a scam when it’s happening.
