Got a flag on my phone saying ‘possible scam’, so I just didn’t pick up. Have blocked the number since then.

Yesterday around noon I got a call from the number 07378 756770, which is a Three Mobile line. There was a recorded message from a woman sounding American or Canadian, and I knew right away it was one of those payment scams. When I rang the number back today, an English lady answered but wouldn’t say who she was when I asked. The original message claimed I’d been charged for a Kings Cross train ticket, clearly trying to trick me into believing I owed money. She started to explain what to do if I hadn’t made the payment, but I cut her off and blocked the number immediately.
