I got a call from someone saying they were from Lloyds bank, telling me about a new payment arranged for Mr J Davies. Looks like others have received the same thing too. Definitely watch out for this one!

Got a call saying Lloyds want to send money to Mr J Davies. Sounds like a dodgy scam to me! Definitely feels like some sort of fraud going on here. Be careful folks!

Got a text supposedly from Lloyds bank, but the number displayed isn’t even turned into “Lloyds Bank…” properly, it just shows something like “:Lloyds,” which makes me think it’s some mass message with a placeholder name. The message claimed my banking app had been used today to create a new payment to some person I’ve never heard of. There was a link in the text, asking me to click if I didn’t recognise the recipient. To me, this definitely looks like a fraud scam trying to trick people.
