Got a call from some robo voice pretending to be my bank, but it didn’t even say which bank. As soon as I answered and spoke, the automated message kicked in, telling me there were dodgy transactions on my account. I’m aware this is a classic scam, so I just ended the call straightaway. Usually, they’d ask you to press numbers on your phone to ‘verify’ or deny these fake transactions, but obviously that’s rubbish. Don’t press anything - it’s just a trick that could cause more trouble. Best thing is to hang up, block the number, and report it.
