Got a call from some bloke trying to sell me windows, obviously a load of rubbish. I just told him to jog on!

They called saying they'd been chatting to my husband at the door about replacing windows, and that he had passed on our landline to them. Since we're not in need of any new windows, and we certainly don’t share our landline number with strangers knocking at the door, this sounded totally made up. The bloke said he was from some company called Home Comforts, which I've never come across before.

Got a call from someone claiming to have spoken with my partner about replacing our windows, and said he’d passed on our home phone. We’ve no interest in new windows, and honestly, wouldn't just hand over our landline to some random person knocking at the door. Made me think they were making it up. The caller said he was from a firm called Home Comforts, which I've never come across before.
