Some bloke called himself Officer Jason Harris with some batch number 98560LR, claiming he was ringing for HRMC. He said I owed nearly £2,000 and threatened me with jail for 5 years if I didn’t pay up. The way he spoke was pretty harsh and pushy, asking for my full name, address, postcode, all kinds of personal stuff. But honestly, it all felt fake and mechanical. I’m convinced it’s a scam. They’ve got this clever way of intimidating you so you panic and hand over your details.
