Got a text saying “HSBC:” at the start. The link in the message looked kinda real, something like “https://hsbc.co.uk.xsecurityonex[###]/hsbc/“, but I wasn’t convinced for a couple of reasons. First, it came from a number I didn’t know, and it definitely didn’t seem like an official HSBC contact. Second, that part of the url with “xsecurityonex” just made me more wary. Definitely seemed fishy to me.
