5 yearsReceived a rather disconcerting text in the early hours, around quarter past two, from a number claiming my PayPal account was under scrutiny for some unspecified issue. They urged me to get in touch with them, but the catch is, I don’t even have a PayPal account! The number in question was 07377431405. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!5 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be PayPal, saying they needed my personal details or they’d shut down my account. Problem is, I don’t even have a PayPal account. The call came through on my mobile, which is odd because I barely give that number out - I mainly use my landline. We’re in Liverpool and get tons of these scam calls all the time, even though we keep blocking numbers on both our home phone and mobiles.
