Got a dodgy text claiming to be from o2 sayin my payment didn’t go through and asking me to click a link to check my bank stuff. Pretty obvious it’s a scam since I’ve never even had any account or payments with o2 in the first place.

Got a text from this number saying my 02 payment hadn’t gone through, with a link to fix it: [#]02resolve[###]. Seemed dodgy since real O2 messages usually come from 'O2UK' and they use a capital ‘O’ not a zero. I checked my bank and nothing was pending, also logged into my O2 account and everything looked fine. I then looked up the website on WHOIS, and it’s registered to WhoisGuard, Inc. in Panama since Dec 22, 2020. So far no one’s reported this number but it’s clearly a scam, watch out!
