My grandma got a text from 07377337013 asking if she was John. Last year the same number messaged her about some car bills she supposedly had to pay even though she never uses that car. Lately, the messages have been about roof panels or something. If you get a text or call from this number, don’t bother replying - it’s definitely a scam. Just block it and be careful not to share any bank stuff with them.

Got a call about solar panels, which is odd because I don’t have any at all.

I got another spam text today, my second one now. The first was about an energy-saving boiler, and today’s was something about solar power batteries. I went ahead and followed the instructions to text back ‘STOP’ - hoping that actually does the trick. I also saved the number in my phone just so I could set it to automatically block it. Fingers crossed it works!

Seeing what others have said, I have to say I’m with them on this one. I’ve been getting calls from this number, or one really close to it just with the last digit different (sometimes 3, sometimes 4, or even 8) and it’s bugged me like 5 times today alone. They never bother to leave a message though. I’ve hung up on them a few times, but they just keep ringing back!

Over the past week, I've been getting loads of calls like this, with the final number changing each time. This morning it finished with a 4; yesterday there was one ending in an 8 and another in a 3. I think I've been called from every number except ones ending in 1. I've tried to block them, but they just keep coming through. Unfortunately, my phone doesn't allow me to block calls. When it's time to upgrade, I'll definitely get a phone that can block numbers properly.
