The guy was polite and clear but something felt off, so I told him I wasn’t interested in talking and ended the call. Afterwards, I noticed a message with a code for a purchase at cineworld cinemas - looks like someone was trying to use my card fraudulently. I’ve since informed tsb about it.TSBCineworld2 yearsI got a call from this number where the guy said he was from Barclays, telling me there was a suspicious payment made in Manchester using my bank details. He actually knew my name, where I live, and even the last 4 digits of my account. When I questioned why he wasn't sticking to Barclays' security checks, he just ended the call after I told him I'd ring Barclays myself to sort it out.
