Got a message saying I’m due a £235.65 refund from GOV-UK. It told me to go to this link: [#]gov-tax-uk-ref[###]/ to get it sorted. I sent the text over to 60599, thought that’s the number HMRC uses for reporting stuff.

They said they were from the government and that I could get a tax refund if I clicked their link. Completely fake! The tax office never calls you on your mobile like that. Definitely a scam.
