Looks like one of those dodgy phishing calls!

Got a dodgy text supposedly from Halifax saying a new device was linked to my account at some time and date, with a link to confirm it. Obviously, I don’t even bank with them, so I knew it was fishy straight away. If you do bank with Halifax, watch out for these fake messages and don’t tap on any links!

Got a message saying someone’s opened a new account with Lloyds bank in my name 🤦‍♀️. Problem is, I don’t even bank with Lloyds! Nice try scammers, better luck next time x
