Got a call from a dodgy number claiming there were suspicious transactions on my account. It was one of those automated messages. They said they were from the bank’s security team but never actually said which bank. When I asked to speak to someone, they then said they were from the visa department. I told them it was clearly a scam and that I’d be contacting the police. Then, they just hung up on me - that pretty much confirms it was a scam.
