I got a text saying it was from Barclays about some new device trying to make a purchase that needed my authorisation. Thing is, the text arrived before the supposed payment time and I don’t even have an account with Barclays. They left a number to ring back: 020 8058 7581, which I couldn’t find much info on. Pretty fishy if you ask me.
