Got a call about a car accident that supposedly happened two months back. Told them it was when I was out walking the dog and the wind slammed the car door onto my hand, which hurt like mad. Asked if they could help with the pain, then they just cut me off! Honestly, not the best help I’ve had from anyone.

got a text from this number claiming to be natwest, saying there was some dodgy activity on my account from a device i didn’t recognise. there was a link in the message but i didn’t click it and reported it straight to natwest.

when i answered, a loan outfit called “fred” was on the line. the number was local but blocked. the caller’s voice had a strange foreign accent, so i hung up quick.

I reckon this might just be one of those annoying scam calls. They keep ringing all day from different numbers but never bother leaving a voicemail. They always say they're from HMRC or a taxi firm or something like that. Proper harassment if you ask me.
