Got a message from this number pretending to be HM Revenue about a £600 cost of living grant. They wanted my full name, address, and even my bank info! That’s when I realised it was definitely a scam. The message looked really legit at first, but no official agency would ask for your bank details like that, right?

Received a call from someone claiming to be with a credit reference company, offering to put a hold on the interest for a £6,000 debt I supposedly owe (which I definitely don’t). The bloke on the line said his name was ‘Adam’. When I told him I wasn’t interested, he just ignored me and kept pushing. After I told him no a second time, he got a bit rude. The voice sounded Indian and like he was working out of a hectic call centre. I’ve blocked the number and reported it straight away.
