Got a text supposedly from PayPal with a confirmation code: 751241, said it would expire in 5 minutes. It asked me to visit a link if I didn’t request it. Problem is, I’ve never signed up with PayPal at all.

Got a message saying there’s some weird transaction on my Halifax account to someone named Ruby Davies. It asked me to urgently confirm or cancel by clicking a link. Pretty clear it’s a scam. Best to just ignore it, block the number and delete the message straight away.
