Seems like the scammers have switched things up. Nowadays, they’re using AI voices too, but not the usual Indian accent. It’s always an American one now. The script’s still the same tho - something about a 40% discount or switching SIM cards!!

I picked up and said “Hi?” and they just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from an unfamiliar number, didn’t answer it, and they didn’t bother to leave a message either.

Got a call from 07368 595209, sounded like an Indian bloke speaking with an American accent. Rang my work line and said "I hope you are well," to which I replied, "I’m doing better than you," then just ended the call 😆. Probably linked to a spam call I missed yesterday from 07369 212694. Looks like they’ve snapped up a whole bunch of numbers.

Someone said they were from Vodafone and told me my SIM card was out of date and they were gonna block it? Not sure if it was a scam but I just blocked the number anyway. The bloke was really loud, said his name was Jason, sounded a bit Indian but with a strange accent, like a call centre type of thing.

Got this call flagged as likely a scam on my phone. I just blocked it right away. It's crazy how many dodgy calls still slip through nowadays.
