I’ve been getting calls around lunchtime for the last week from numbers that look quite alike. Didn’t pick up since I don’t know the number, and I’m definitely not with Sky UK, so I’m pretty sure it’s just some scam or cold call.

They said they were from EE, but I’m nowhere near that network and the number didn’t match anything I’ve seen from them before. Pretty sure it’s just a scam.

Dodgy call! They rang in the wee hours asking if someone had logged into my account recently, then tried to get me to verify details from my Amazon profile. They even sent a reset code through Amazon, obviously hoping to hijack my account. I humoured them for a bit to see where it was going, but when I wouldn’t hand over the code, they started getting a bit narky.
