Got a call from someone claiming they were with EE, but they rang me from an 07 number and totally got my name wrong. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

Someone rang saying they was from Vodafone saying they could cut my bill by 40%. I told them I’m on a sim only deal for 12 quid a month already and if they dropped it any lower they’d have to pay me to keep the contract. They then said they might do it for 7 quid. I just said no thanks, I’m happy with what I have and hung up. They never called again after that.
