I got a call today and picked up since I was waiting for someone to ring me. When I answered, there was just dead silence at first. Then I caught some office chatter faintly before they hung up. Quite strange!

They rang claiming to be from EE, which is supposed to be my local network. I told them I don’t use EE, and they just hung up straight away. Honestly, it didn’t come across as a proper call from EE at all.

Got a call from someone claiming to be my phone provider. When I asked him to tell me my name, he said ‘shabnam’ which is nowhere close to my actual name. Told him to stop calling, and all I got was a chuckle through the line. Ended up blocking the number.
