Got a call from a spam number and as soon as I picked up, they just ended it straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Tesco Mobile saying my sim would be frozen for three days. Pretty clear that was a scam though.

Someone rang me saying they were from 02 and that because of their merger with Virgin Media, I’d have to change my phone number soon. They claimed they’d send a new SIM if I wanted to keep my existing number. I quickly switched my phone to airplane mode to cut the call. Later, I rang 02 directly and they told me it was a scam - no one from their company had tried to contact me. The person I spoke to at 02 told me not to worry about losing my number and advised me to block the scammer’s number straight away.
