I picked up and all I could hear was some mumbling before they just cut the call.

Phone rang, caller said Vodafone on the line. I asked what it was about, but they just hung up without saying a word.

Got a call from someone saying they were from EE, trying to give me a discount on my monthly bill. They kept asking how I usually pay, and the person had a strong accent and sounded like they were shouting from a busy call centre. Ended up just hanging up and blocking the number.
