I got a call from someone claiming to be with E.E, saying I could get a discount for being a loyal user. When I tried to find out when my last payment was taken, he just kept pushing his deal and wouldn’t answer. I kept asking for the exact billing date, and after going back and forth, he said it was around mid-February. But as soon as I asked for the specific day, the guy just hung up. The caller spoke with an Indian accent.

This number flagged up as a possible scam, and right enough it was. I answered and just let the person go on and on chatting rubbish, then I said "hello scammer" and he quickly hung up straight away. Classic scam call.
