Got a call from this number yesterday, which was strange since I hardly ever get phone calls. A woman said she was from Vodafone, trying to sell me an upgrade on my broadband, even though my contract isn't up for renewal yet. I was tied up and ended the call because I wasn’t really keen. Then today, it rang again just after 1 in the afternoon. Didn’t pick up and decided to block it straight away. After that, I looked the number up on Google and turns out, loads of people are saying it’s a dodgy scam or spam line.

They kept going on about some SIM card and "three network services," but honestly, I didn’t catch a single thing because the accent was so thick, very Indian. I tried asking a bunch of questions but the replies made no sense to me at all. Eventually, I told them to just send the details in an email - but never actually gave them my email address!

Someone said they were from EE and told me they could lower my monthly bill by 40%. When they asked for my email, I told them it’s already on my account. After that, they just hung up on me.
