Somebody rang saying they were from Tesco mobile but I told them I’m not involved with that company at all and they just cut the line.

Got a call from someone pretending to be Virgin O2 saying my SIM would be cut off in 48 hours and they wanted to send me a replacement. Told them I'd verify it first and they just hung up on me. Seems like a total scam - no legit company would suddenly do that without proper advance warning using their usual methods. Plus, I looked up the number and the caller ID says Sky, which makes it even more suspicious.
