I got a call from someone claiming to be from Vodafone, offering to cut my contract costs by 45%. They asked for my full name and DOB for verification, so I gave them a made-up name and date. Surprisingly, they said it matched and I’d passed their “security check”. Gave me a bad vibe, clearly a scam. I ended the call, but they kept ringing me back. Eventually I picked up and told them I knew it wasn’t Vodafone calling. They just hung up straight away. Total dodgy behaviour.

I didn't pick up their call at first, so I rang them back. But every time I called, the line would just cut off immediately and all it showed was from the UK, no specific place. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

He claimed to be from EE, but I wasn’t really sure about it. So I told him I’d ring EE directly to check and then hung up.
