Earlier today, I received a rather alarming text from this number claiming that the NHS is concerned for my wellbeing and urging me to undergo a Covid test. It seems this scam has been making the rounds for ages; I really do hope it comes to an end soon.

Got a text saying a new gadget has been linked to my account. Rang up my bank and they had no clue about the number it came from. Definitely avoid clicking any links in messages like these. Always better to call your bank using a number you know is legit, like one from your statement.

Got a text saying Santander detected a new device on my account and to click a link if it was me. Problem is, I don’t even bank with Santander, seemed fishy so I just blocked the number.
