Got a call from someone claiming to be Vodafone, but since they’re not my service provider, I reckon it’s probably a scam.

There was a bit of a pause before someone picked up, which made me think they were probably ringing the same number from a call centre. The first person to answer said they were from Sky and claimed my account was chosen for a special discount offer. Complete nonsense, I know Sky wouldn’t do that. Their accent was quite tricky to follow. Definitely a scam in my book.

I was tied up, so I ended the call straight away. Then they rang me again, and I did the same. When they called a third time, I picked up figuring it might be something useful. But it was just an automated voice saying bye before cutting off.

Got a call from an Indian number claiming to be Three Network with some discount offer. Thing is, I haven’t been with Three for ages... and their accent was a bit tricky to catch at times. It’s odd though, why would customer support be ringing on a mobile number anyway?
