My landline has been getting calls from 07467121574 quite a bit. When I pick up, there’s this automated voice saying my Amazon Prime subscription is being renewed and they’ll charge me £79.99? Then they tell me to press 2 if I want to chat with them. I just hang up straight away since I don’t even use Amazon, thinking it's one of those dodgy scams.

I don’t know if this was meant to be a joke or what, but it wasn’t funny at all. I answered the phone and right away there was someone shouting rude words at me for no reason, then they just hung up.

I received a call from that same number, and as soon as I picked up, they disconnected. I tried ringing back, only to be greeted by a message mentioning someone named Martin Edwards, followed by another automated response. It’s clearly a scam, so I decided to hang up and block the number.

I picked up the call but there was utter silence on the other end, so they promptly disconnected. I tried calling back, only to hear that the individual couldn't take my call. Then I was diverted to a voicemail belonging to Martin Edwards, after which the line beeped three times before it suddenly cut off.
