Got a call from someone with a dodgy foreign accent, claiming there was a £600 charge on my Visa card. The English was really bad and sounded fake. Just saw online on BBC Radio 4 Money Box that Ofcom says they can't really stop scammers from using phone numbers to trick people. So be careful, this one's definitely a scam.
