Got a dodgy text claiming my Lloyds Bank account had a new payment arranged, had a link in it. Thought it was fishy so didn’t click it, just reported it straight away. Be careful, looks like a scam trying to steal info.

Got a text claiming to be from Lloyds about a new payee being set up on my account - problem is, I don't even have an account with them! Definitely a scam, trying to catch people out with this one.

Got a message from 07307264185 about a payee being added to my Lloyds account, but I dont even have an account with Lloyds! Very fishy.

They tried to pass themselves off as Lloyds bank, saying someone had added a new payee on my account from a different device. Then they sent a dodgy website link like mypayee-online[###]. Totally a scam, so just ignore and don’t reply.
