Got a call from this number on Friday but couldn't answer. When I rang back, it went straight to an answering machine with a robotic voice saying that 07365655303 couldn't pick up the call and to leave a message. Didn't bother leaving anything.

They were really pushy, acting like they had some great deal from 3, but it felt more like a hard sell.

Got a message claiming to be from Evri saying my parcel got damaged and they cant deliver it coz the address info was lost. They want me to update my details using some dodgy link within 12 hours. Total SCAM, don’t fall for it! The message tries to look official but it’s fake, avoid clicking anything from it.

Got a text from this number claiming to be Royal Mail, telling me to follow a link and enter my full address. Since I was expecting a delivery, I thought it was legit and clicked the link. Luckily, my phone company flagged the number as suspicious and stopped me from going any further. I checked online and loads of others have reported weird calls from this same number. Definitely avoid it!

There was nothing on the other end, just dead silence after I said "hello, hello". Then the call dropped straight away. If this is some business trying to sell stuff, they really shouldn’t be ringing me up since I’m on the do-not-call list. It’s against the rules for them to cold call me when my number’s signed up to block these calls.

Heads up! A lot of these debt help schemes are actually scams from scammers who never come through on what they promise. If you get caught up in their spiel, you might end up paying loads in fees and be even worse off money-wise. You’ll still owe the same amount, but add on late charges and other fines on top.

To stop yourself from falling for a debt management trick, you really need to do some proper research and find a trustworthy person who can clearly explain all your choices. It’s really important to meet them face to face, since loads of debt settlement firms only want to chat over the phone or through email. Why bother with a firm that isn’t nearby? If you don’t actually meet anyone, how can you be sure they’re legit? Never send cash to someone you’ve never met in person, that’s just asking for trouble.
