Don’t fall for it, it’s all a scam.3 yearsWhat a total rip-off! This lady was claiming I had signed up to sponsor books for schools, which frankly is rubbish. I made it clear straight away we never gave the go-ahead for anything like that. Then she was asking if maybe someone else in the firm might’ve agreed to it, but I’m certain no one would do that without checking with me first. We already have our own charities we back, and this definitely wasn’t one of them. They had my business details, so it’s obvious they’re just trying to con companies.3 yearsThey’re ringing me up saying I promised a donation if they managed to get enough sponsorship - now they want me to pay up. They said it’s for disabled kids and the woman sounded dead sorry, going on about how thousands of children will be affected if I don’t pay. I’ve never had any contact from them before, no emails, no letters, nothing at all. Now suddenly they expect me to cough up hundreds of pounds.
