Got a call from someone claiming to be Vodafone, offering a 40% discount. I told him I wasn’t with Vodafone, he asked who my provider was but I didn’t say and just ended the call. Definitely a scam.

I got a call from a woman speaking with an Indian accent, saying she’s from Vodafone and offering me a 40% discount. At the very same time, I got a text from a number I didn’t recognise, 86323663, with a code and a warning not to share it with anyone. The lady on the phone then asked me for that exact code. Her accent was quite hard to follow, so I kept asking her to repeat herself. She sounded annoyed after a while and just ended the call abruptly without saying goodbye. That just made me more sure this was some kind of scam.
